A little update from Seamstress Honeybee 🐝✨
To all my wonderful clients: thank you. You’ve helped me build this business into something I love, and I am so grateful for your support.
As many of you know, life has changed beautifully recently with the arrival of our daughter. To ensure I can give her the time she needs, manage our home, and continue providing the high-quality work you expect, I’m making some intentional changes to how Seamstress Honeybee operates.
I’m also looking ahead! To keep the business growing and give our daughter her own space, I’ll be looking for a dedicated studio/office space by the end of the year. 🏡🧵
What this means for bookings:
Current Bookings: New bookings are currently closed until 19th April 2026.
Hemming only: From May, only hemming appointments will be available on Fridays only. These will have a one-week turnaround (drop off one Friday, collect the next).
Specialist Services: I am still available for:
Prom, Bridal & Bridesmaid Alterations 👰♀️( see Seamstress Honeybee Bridal )
Memory Animals 🧸
Narrowing my focus was a difficult decision, but it’s the only way to maintain the quality and consistency I pride myself on. I aim in the future to be able to offer a wider range of alterations again.
For any other alteration needs outside of these services, I am more than happy to help recommend! I have some amazing colleagues in the industry with their own businesses, and I would be delighted to provide a recommendation so you’re still in great hands.
